Manly United’s Women face a daunting assignment
Manly United’s women face a daunting assignment on Sunday when they travel to the NSW south coast to take on the Illawarra Stingrays.
The squads have enjoyed a terrific rivalry over the years, and Manly striker Remy Siemsen believes this weekend will be no different.
“The Stingrays are always tough, they have quality players like Caitlin Cooper and Michelle Carney,” she said.
“After having the Easter break off, everyone is refreshed and ready to go.
“Chloe O’Brien has looked sharp at training, so has (goalkeeper) Claire Coelho.
“We are confident we can get three points.”
Kick-off is 3pm at the Albert Butler Memorial Park in Warrawong.
