Walk4BrainCancer Manly 2017
Manly United youth league player Jacob Trzecinski overcame a huge battle earlier this year when he took on and beat Brain Cancer.
It was a battle very few of us could comprehend but we all admired and respected his tenacity and desire to not only beat the disease but return to football at Cromer Park.
Jacob is now turning his attention to assisting the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to raise money to go towards brain cancer research and advocacy, which are essential if Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is to meet its mission to increase brain cancer survival from 20 per cent to 50 per cent by 2023.
And he has one of Australia’s greatest philanthropists in his corner – Andrew “Twiggy” Forrest.
On 26 November, Cure Brain Cancer Foundation will be hosting the annual Beach Walk4BrainCancer from Shelly Beach to South Curl Curl with all funds going to the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
For every dollar Jacob raises, Twiggy will match it up to $100,000. If Jacob reaches $100,000, Twiggy will donate another $100,000!
To help Jacob help others you can find Jacob’s fundraising team at Walk4braincancer.com.au/Jacob or you can register to walk with Jacob on November 26.
