Manly United keen to silence Stallions
Manly United’s Brendan Cholakian doesn’t know what to expect from Marconi this Saturday night.
Much like the hosts, the Stallions have been plagued by on-field inconsistency in 2018.
“They are a Jekyll and Hyde team, you don’t know what you are going to get,” Cholakian said.
“I’m sure they will be feeling confident, beating APIA last week was a great result.
“Everyone knows they have plenty of attacking threats, but their defence can be a bit shaky at times.
“Hopefully we get them on a bad night.”
United sit in eighth spot after 14 rounds, but a spot in the top four remains in their reach – provided they start to pick up points consistently.
Kick-off at Cromer Park is at the earlier time of 5pm, with the Socceroos taking on France in their World Cup opener from 8pm.
