Manly United wary of Emerging Jets
If the current league ladder is any guide, Manly United shouldn’t have too many problems picking up three points when they take on the Emerging Jets at Cromer Park this Sunday afternoon.
The hosts are sitting in the top five, while the visitors have only won once in 2018.
Patty Charalambous wasn’t buying into the hype, declaring a committed performance is necessary from start to finish.
“Every game you need to respect your opposition,” the Manly left side utility said.
“The Jets are young, fit and fast, and a few of their players are very good technically.
“If we stick to what works for us, and stay disciplined we should be hard to beat.
“We definitely won’t be complacent, you can’t be at this level.”
Kick-off is 3pm.
