Will We Take the Six Points?
Northbridge Bulls FC v Manly United FC
3:00pm, Saturday 18th June, Sydney United Sports Centre
Third-placed Manly United will be looking to upset the young Northbridge Bulls when they head out to Sydney United Sports Centre on Saturday afternoon.
With seven games undefeated, Manly will be the favourites in the match up and will be hoping for some important points to continue to fight for the 2022 Premiership.
Kieran Paull was the lone representative in the NPL NSW Team of the Week for both sides in Round 15 and has been a pillar of strength for Manly throughout the season.
Northbridge will enter the clash with only two wins to their name this season and will be hoping to use the match to continue to develop as young talent and hopefully get off the bottom of the ladder.
When the two teams met in Round 5, Manly came away with a 3-0 victory, will they be able to do the same again?

Illawarra Stingrays v Manly United
5pm, Sunday 19th June, JJ Kelly Park
JJ Kelly Park is down as the venue for this one but will the Illawarra Stingrays finally host a game this season at their home ground is the question as Manly United come to town.
It’s been a tough campaign for the Stingrays this season with the above issues along with a range of others. They haven’t given up though and have been competitive. They could have hit the front last week against the league leaders but their captain fantastic Michelle Carney could not put away the spot kick.
They will feel they can come away from this one with something and potentially kick start their campaign. They have played two games less also so a win here is almost imperative for the Stingrays.
Manly United cracked into the top five after their big win on Sunday and will hope to stay there beyond this weekend. It was some second half performance from Tom Hopley’s team, coming out and blasting five un-answered goals.
They have still only lost one match this season, an incredible feat for this team. Six draws though haven’t really helped United and they will need more results like that from Sunday.
