Female Football Week: Vali Bradley

Vali Bradley FFW 1200 x 800

For Female Football Week, we spoke to Vali Bradley, who plays for our Women’s U23 team and coaches in our Girls JDL program.

“I used to be in the Development and SAP (now JDL) programs. Shaz (Girls & Women’s Technical Director) asked if I wanted to do any coaching. I said yes, and I’ve loved it ever since.

“It helps me with my own football, because I can see the technical side of the game. I love seeing the girls developing in their own ways as well.”

Vali looks back fondly at being part of the Manly United U18 team that reached the finals in 2022, even though they fell just short of the Grand Final.

“That was a really strong team. We were so close, we were bonding and learning from each other. We’re a really good community, we were all there for each other, and we made sure everyone enjoyed it.”
