About Manly United FC

Manly United Football Club provides a pathway for grassroots footballers, coaches and administrators to pursue their footballing dreams. The club strives to provide an avenue to compete at the highest level in the state of New South Wales, with the best atmosphere and facilities football can offer.

The overall Mission Statement for MUFC is as follows:

‘To promote and govern football through maintaining stable structures for the game and enabling its successful development, for the benefit of the game on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.’

This overall Mission Statement is intended to set out the style of administration MUFC aspires to, which will allow each of the three areas of responsibility outlined below to flourish according to its own goals and needs.

Representative Level:

‘To be the country’s leader through excellence in every aspect of the game’.

Community Game:

‘To promote and develop the game within the community, so as to encourage optimum participation and enjoyment at every level’.

Business Activities:

‘To be the strongest club in the country, commercially and financially, and to provide the investment resources necessary to achieve our aspirations for the whole of the game’.

The club believes that each remains appropriate for its Strategic Plan. Combining the four separate elements, a comprehensive Mission Statement for the MUFC covers all its activities and responsibilities.
