Manly United Football Club wishes to announce that the club’s Men’s First Grade Head Coach Patrick Zwaanswijk is leaving.
Pat made the club aware he won’t be continuing in 2026 due to personal reasons, and the club has made the difficult decision to implement its succession plan immediately.
Pat has been an integral part of the Manly United family, leading our First Grade squad for nearly 3 seasons.
He has been a passionate supporter of our football vision and has been committed to bringing our local youth players through the system, resulting in 14 youth players debuting in First Grade during his time here. He has also been a great mentor to our younger coaches, and we thank him for his contributions to our club and wish him all the very best.
Plans for the recruitment of a new First Grade Head Coach are now underway, and further updates will be shared with our players and supporters in due course. In the meantime, First Grade Assistant Coach Jimmy Snedden will take the role on an interim basis for the remainder of the season.
