The Foundation Squad U6-U8 program is designed to improve players’ foundation phase skills and develop their love for football. It offers a pathway to the Manly United/MWFA JDL (Junior Development League) program.
With around 50% of our U9 JDL players being part of our Foundation Squads, this program offers a pathway for young talented footballers from within the MWFA region to begin their elite footballing journey.
The program runs from early March until September. Players train two nights a week with Manly United FC.

Note: Foundation Squad players still train and play games with their local grassroots club in the MWFA competition. They are not registered with Manly United.
