The 2026 Manly United Gala Dinner was everything we hoped it would be – a room full of passionate people, plenty of laughter and a wonderful celebration of the Manly United community.
From the moment guests arrived, there was a real buzz around the venue. Whether it was catching up with old teammates, bidding in the auction, trying their luck on the raffle and golden ticket games or simply enjoying a great night out, there was something for everyone.
A few highlights stood out.
Our special guest, Socceroo Andrew Redmayne, had the room captivated with stories from his football journey, while taking the time to chat with guests and pose for countless photos. One particularly special moment came when a young Manly goalkeeper reunited with Andrew years after first meeting his hero, proudly bringing along the original photo to be signed.
As the formalities came to a close, it was time to hit the dance floor. The return of DJ Zarko had guests of all ages dancing the night away with back-to-back bangers, proving once again that nobody is ever too old for a conga!
And then there was dessert. Butterboy’s famous cookies were the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable evening, proving once again why they’re among the Northern Beaches’ favourite treats.
Of course, no fundraiser would be complete without prizes. Congratulations to all of our raffle winners, auction bidders and game winners, and thank you to everyone who purchased tickets or contributed on the night. Every dollar raised helps strengthen our club and support our players and programs.
Events like this don’t happen without an incredible team working behind the scenes. A heartfelt thank you to our Gala committee – Chloe, Claire, Kate and Ryan – whose months of planning delivered a truly memorable evening. We’d also like to thank board member Adam for wearing just about every hat imaginable on the night, along with the entire Cromer Park team, whose willingness to jump in and help wherever needed made all the difference.
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered or simply supported the event. Your generosity and belief in Manly United made the evening so special.
