The 2026 season is heading towards the finish line – and for several Manly United teams, there is still plenty to play for.
Senior Men
Our First Grade head into their final round sitting fifth, with a win enough to secure their place in the finals series.
They face a tough final assignment away to Wollongong Wolves, who have finals ambitions of their own and could also break into the top six with a win. It sets up a huge final-round clash, with the Manly boys needing to put in a shift on Sunday to secure their place in the 2026 finals series.
The U20 Men are in a strong position, sitting in fourth place on the ladder and eight points clear of seventh-placed Wolves – as such, already guaranteed a top six finish. This gives the team a shot at finals glory for the second year running and the opportunity to retain last year’s crown.
Senior Women
For our First Grade and U23s, finals football is now out of reach – but there has been plenty to celebrate none the less. A final round win on Sunday against Sydney Uni could see the First Grade finishing in fifth, should other results go their way. This would be a deserved finish for a team who have shown their strength and capability all season, with the Sapphire Cup Final among their 2026 highlights – a campaign that the players, club staff and supporters can be proud of. The U23s can also round off their season in sixth place should they win on Sunday, with a top-half of the table finish likely.
Youth Leagues
There’s still plenty happening across our youth leagues as the season nears it’s end Our Boys U18s remain firmly in the finals hunt with two games remaining, while the Girls U18s, U16s and U15s are also in contention for a place in their respective finals series’.
With finals spots still up for grabs, the next few games could make all the difference for several Manly teams. Regardless of how the final ladders look when the regular season comes to a close, there’s lots to celebrate after another huge season across our Senior and Youth squads – with plenty of great football and performances to be proud of.
